Montgomery Gentry maps summer tour dates

Country duo Montgomery Gentry [ tickets ] will follow its current stint on Kenny Chesney [ tickets ]'s winter tour with a headlining run of its own.

The itinerary already stretches into late September, and more dates are expected, according to Montgomery Gentry's official website.

The pair's summer tour includes an August stop at Minnesota's WE Fest 2003, a four-day event that will also feature performances from Brad Paisley, Crosby, Stills & Nash, Keith Urban, Lee Ann Womack and more. Details are available at the event's website.

The outing with Chesney runs through April 12.

Montgomery Gentry--a.k.a. Troy Lee Gentry and Eddie Montgomery--are on the road backing last year's "My Town." The album features the cut "Speed," which is riding Billboard's Hot Country Singles & Tracks chart.
