Christina Aguilera and Justin Timberlake firm up tour plans
Justin Timberlake 's love affair with one blonde pop princess is off, but his summer tour with another is definitely on.
The Britney-less Timberlake and Christina Aguilera have locked down three months of co-headlining tour dates that kick off in early June. More dates are expected.
"I'm really looking forward to working with Justin," Aguilera said in a statement. "We are going to put on an unbelievable show. Get ready. This is something you don't want to miss."
"I'm looking forward to this tour because it's the first time I'm touring as a solo artist and the first time I'm getting to perform the songs from my CD 'Justified' for my fans," Timberlake said. "This tour with Christina is going to allow the fans to see two great concerts in one night."
'NSync member Timberlake is backing his 2002 solo debut, "Justified," while Aguilera is supporting last year's "Stripped." The pair's outing has thusly been dubbed the Justified and Stripped Tour.
"Stripped" features Aguilera's latest pair of hits, "Dirrty" and "Beautiful." The music videos for each track are streaming at the singer's official website.
Timberlake's site is streaming his music videos for the "Justified" tracks "Cry Me a River" and "Like I Love You." The latter cut recently earned him a GRAMMY® nomination in the Best Rap/Sung Collaboration category, while "Justified" is up for Best R&B/Soul Album, Male.
The Justified and Stripped Tour won't be Aguilera's and Timberlake's first collaboration; as children, the two co-starred on Disney's "All-New Mickey Mouse Club," as did Britney Spears, 'NSync's JC Chasez and actress Keri Russell ("Felicity").
