Bruce Springsteen Plotting November Tour Activity

Bruce Springsteen will push his world tour into November, it was confirmed Wednesday (9/1) with the announcement of a single date at North Dakota's Fargodome.

The show, set for Nov. 6, surfaces as most fans continue a vigil hoping for details of rumored West Coast tour stops. To date, a single date at Los Angeles' new Staples Center on October 17 has been announced.

Tickets for the Fargo show will go on sale Saturday, Sept. 11. Tickets for the Los Angeles show are set for sale on Sept. 18, according to a Los Angeles Times report.

Springsteen is touring with the full E Street Band on a reunion tour that kicked off April 9th in Barcelona, Spain. The U.S. leg of the tour began July 15th with a 15-show run at the Continental Airlines Arena that set industry records both for single day ticket sales and for the longevity of a continuous concert run by a single act at an arena.

The tour will wind up a three-night stay in Washington, DC on Sept. 3, and then move to Detroit for a pair of shows that were postponed to Sept. 8-9 to allow for a longer break at the end of the New Jersey run.

Industry sources point to the probability of a tour break in late November (though markets following Fargo are not known), followed by a return to New Jersey for an expected New Year's Eve show at the Continental Airlines Arena. Arena representatives have previously confirmed they are holding the date for a potential Springsteen booking.

Tour plans in 2000 are much less clear, with some stadiums said to be tentatively holding dates while promoters await word from the Springsteen camp as to how they want to proceed.
