CKY scraps remainder of headlining tour due to injury

Rock outfit CKY has cut short its current headlining tour because one of its members broke his tailbone at a recent show.

Following the group's sold-out show at the House of Blues in Chicago, guitarist Chad Ginsburg slipped and fell from some stairs while approaching a group of autograph-seeking fans, according to the group's publicist. Doctors have instructed Ginsburg to rest for four weeks so that the broken tailbone can mend properly.

The group's tour was supposed to conclude on April 12 in Pomona, Calif. Ticket refunds are available at the point of purchase, and the band plans to announce makeup dates shortly.

CKY had been on the road in support of its second major-label effort, "Infiltrate Destroy Rebuild," which surfaced last September. The set debuted at No. 99 on the Billboard 200 album chart, and has sold about 97,000 copies to date, according to Island Records.

The album's second single, "Attached at the Hip," is due to hit radio stations on April 8.
