A Perfect Circle joins Lollapalooza roster

Headed by Tool vocalist Maynard James Keenan, A Perfect Circle will join Jane’s Addiction, Audioslave, Incubus, Jurassic 5 and The Donnas on the Lollapalooza main stage in six cities.

From August 15-23, the band will fill in for Queens of the Stone Age in Phoenix, Los Angeles, San Diego, San Francisco, Salt Lake City and Seattle.

Band members include Keenan, guitarist Troy Van Leeuwen, Billy Howerdel (former Tool guitar tech), drummer John Freese, and ex-Marilyn Manson bassist Twiggy Ramirez (replacing Paz Lenchantin, who left to join Zwan).

A Perfect Circle released their critically acclaimed first album, “Mer de Noms,” in May of 2000, which debuted at #4 on the Billboard 200 album chart. Their sophomore album is expected to surface later this spring.
