Briefly: The Rolling Stones, OutKast, Noel Redding, Guns N' Roses, Type O Negative

The Rolling Stones have canceled a scheduled concert in Belgrade, Serbia-Montenegro, due to security concerns, according to European press reports.

The group reportedly notified promoter Komuna of the cancellation shortly after Serbian Prime Minister Zoran Djindjic was assassinated on March 12, and organizers were unable to persuade the band to reconsider its decision.

A three-judge panel of the Sixth District United States Court of Appeals in Detroit has revived a lawsuit filed against rap group OutKast by civil rights figure Rosa Parks. A judge threw out the suit in 1999, claiming that the First Amendment protected the group's use of Parks' name in their song "Rosa Parks." Parks' suit claimed that OutKast's use of her name unfairly suggested that she was connected to the group.

The appeals panel decided that OutKast must show an artistic reason for using Parks' name, and sent the case back to the lower court.
