Teen pop star Aaron Carter [ tickets ] pays homage to singers from the 1950s through the '80s during the "Aaron's Jukebox Tour 2003," which kicks off on July 26 in Phoenix.

"I am very excited about singing some of my favorite songs from artists who have inspired me, like Sammy Davis Jr., Elvis, the Turtles, Beatles, the Monkees, KC & the Sunshine Band, Bee Gees, Earth, Wind & Fire, Rolling Stones, David Bowie, Billy Idol and Michael Jackson," Carter said in a statement. "It is going to be so cool to dress in the styles of each decade and to add my own flair to my favorite songs."

The tour, which will feature opening acts Jump5 and Play, will take Carter primarily to sheds throughout the West and Midwest. In September, he will embark on a tour of Japan.

He has scheduled a June 14 warm-up gig at Wild Adventures in Valdosta, Ga.

Carter is touring in support of his latest album, "Another Earthquake," which hit stores in September of 2002. It includes the song "Summertime," featuring Baha Men. The album debuted at No. 7 on the Billboard 200 Album Chart and has sold more than 1 million copies.

Play released "Replay" Tuesday (6/10), while Jump5's "All the Time in the World" hit stores in August of 2002.
