Briefly: Ludacris, Adam Ant, Jim Lauderdale, Nirvana, The Used

Michigan's Jackson County Fair Board has canceled a planned Aug. 7 performance by rapper Ludacris because the artist's language is too racy, the Jackson Citizen Patriot reported.

Fair Manager Sally Griffis told the newspaper that she and Ludacris' representatives made the decision to cancel the show late Monday afternoon. She wouldn't say how much money the cancellation will cost the county.
