Nelly [ tickets ] and his group St. Lunatics [ tickets ] have scheduled a U.S. tour set to kickoff July 10 in Dallas. The short jaunt, which primarily hits outdoor venues and theaters, wraps up at the end of July.

The St. Louis-based rappers are pushing Nelly's sophomore solo effort "Nellyville" and the 2001 St. Lunatics release "Free City."

On the tour, St. Lunatics member Murphy Lee will perform songs from his debut solo album, "Murphy's Law," which hits stores in September.

Recently, Nelly has been trying to raise awareness of bone marrow donation after his sister, Jackie Donahue, was diagnosed leukemia.

On June 13, Nike also issued a limited edition shoe in partnership with the GRAMMY^®-winning, multi-platinum rapper. Nelly's "Air Derrty" shoes are available at Niketown stores in Chicago, Atlanta and New York, as well as Squad 1 sports St. Louis. The proceeds benefit 4Sho4Kids, Nelly's nonprofit foundation dedicated to improving the quality of life for children born with developmental disabilities.
