Keller Williams readies new album, plots tour dates

Singer-songwriter Keller Williams kicks off a fall tour in September to support his seventh album, "Home."
The outing begins with a Sept. 19 performance in Austin, TX, as part of the Austin City Limits Music Festival, and dates currently stretch into late October.
Tickets for several dates are already on sale, though ducats for most shows hit the box office on Aug. 14. SCI Ticketing--a ticketing service founded and run by jam band the String Cheese Incident --is selling tickets for Williams' tour, and tickets are also available through traditional outlets.
Williams befriended the members of String Cheese Incident in 1997, and he and the band have since toured together and appeared on each other's albums. String Cheese Incident's indie label, SCI Fidelity, has released all of Williams' albums.
On Aug. 26, SCI Fidelity will issue "Home," Williams' studio follow-up to 2002's "Laugh." Earlier this year, Williams released "Dance," an album featuring remixed tracks from "Laugh."
Williams fittingly recorded "Home" in his hometown of Fredericksburg, VA.
