Reverend Horton Heat spreads the word through the fall

Road-seasoned psychobilly act the Reverend Horton Heat [ tickets ] continues its busy tour schedule this fall, mixing dozens of headlining dates with a series of shows in support of The Sex Pistols [ tickets ].

The Reverend's current batch of dates with Southern Culture on the Skids [ tickets ] and Throw Rag runs through Aug. 3, and appearances in support of The Sex Pistols are set through early September.

Several shows with The Blasters [ tickets ] and BR549 are also scheduled for September, and a new series of shows with Southern Culture on the Skids [ tickets ] and Throw Rag will run from Sept. 25 through Oct. 14. The full itinerary appears below.

The latest album from the Reverend (a.k.a. Jim Heath) and his backing duo--bassist Jimbo Wallace and drummer Scott Churilla--was 2002's "Lucy 7," which was produced by Ed Stasium (Ramones, Living Colour).

The follow-up to "Lucky 7"--which is the group's seventh album--is expected to be a live set that was recorded on Jan. 3 and 4 at the House of Blues in West Hollywood, CA, but no release date has been announced.
