Briefly: Dixie Chicks, Sting, Bruce Springsteen, Justin Timberlake

A motorist was treated for a cut arm after rear-ending a tour bus carrying Dixie Chicks member Emily Robison early Thursday.

The tour bus had pulled over on the side of the highway and the motorist told police he had taken his eyes off the road to answer a ringing cell phone, according to press reports. No members of the Dixie Chicks band or crew were hurt in the incident. The Dixie Chicks performed in Houston Wednesday night and will wind down their U.S. tour this week.

Justin Timberlake was reportedly pelted with water bottles and other debris Wednesday (7/30) as an early opener for the Rolling Stones, Rush, AC/DC and others at the Toronto concert that has come to be known as SARS-stock. Timberlake performed just three songs before vacating the stage, but re-surfaced to join the Stones on stage during their performance of "Miss You."
