Saves the Day lines up road work as album release nears
Saves the Day kicks off a headlining tour of the club and theater circuit next month, just days before its new album lands in stores.
The new set, titled "In Reverie," is due out on Sept. 16, while the tour--which also features Taking Back Sunday and Moneen--gets underway in Connecticut on Sept. 12.
The New Jersey-based pop-punk outfit began recording "In Reverie" in Los Angeles in mid-January and wrapped things up at the end of April, according to it's official website. The album, which is the group's fourth full-length, follows 2001's "Stay What You Are." The album marked the group's first set for Vagrant Records, and spawned the singles "Freakish" and "At Your Funeral."
Taking Back Sunday continues to support its debut album, "Tell All Your Friends," which surfaced in March of last year. The group is currently on the road as part of the Vans Warped Tour.
Toronto's Moneen released their Vagrant Records debut, "Are We Really Happy With Who We Are Right Now?," in June.
