Organizers have unveiled a revamped schedule for the Justified & Stripped tour, featuring co-headlining pop icons Justin Timberlake [ tickets ] and Christina Aguilera [ tickets ], in the wake of a recent stage accident that resulted in several postponements.

Plans are in place for the tour to resume on Monday (8/18), beginning with two consecutive nights at Nassau Coliseum in Uniondale, NY. To accommodate those shows, as well as subsequent make-up dates in East Rutherford, NJ; Hartford, CT; and Albany, NY, organizers shuffled the tour's remaining dates, which now run until Sept. 2. Details appear in the itinerary below.

Tickets for the originally scheduled concerts will be honored on the make-up dates.

Not among the rescheduled shows is a make-up date for the tour's stop at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, where the trouble started on Saturday (8/9) when a ceiling grid over the stage collapsed during preparations for that night's show. At press time, a message on the venue's website still listed the show as "postponed" rather than "canceled." Refunds are available at the point of purchase.

Damage to the tour's lighting, sound, video and staging elements as a result of the collapse is estimated at more than a million dollars. According to the Press of Atlantic City, local, state and federal investigators--including the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA)--are investigating the cause of the accident.

The structure that collapsed--known as a supergrid--comprised a lighting-and-equipment rig and false ceiling, which the venue added in 2002 as part of a $90 million renovation, according to the paper. The venue's previous supergrid reportedly collapsed in Sept. 2000 during preparations for the Miss America Pageant.

Mountain Productions of Pennsylvania, which installed the supergrid last year, inspected the structure just three days before the latest mishap, Boardwalk Hall officials said in a statement.
