DMX's Ruff Ryders/Cash Money Tour Pushed Back

update: The DMX -fronted Ruff Ryders/Cash Money Tour that was tentatively scheduled to open in Providence, R.I., on Feb. 9 probably won't get off the ground until later in the month. According to tour sources, the hip-hop package is now likely to begin its run in Rochester, N.Y., on Feb. 24.

Plans were previously announced for a 40-city arena tour featuring DMX, Eve, Lil' Wayne, Juvenile and several other acts on the Ruff Ryders and Cash Money labels. But the tentative schedule didn't hold, most likely due to scheduling conflicts, and it is being reworked.

Last year, DMX was scheduled to appear on a portion of the Family Values Tour, but he pulled out just days before the tour launched. The rapper's camp never explained his decision to opt out of the tour.
