The Rolling Stones postponed Wednesday (8/20) night's show in Amsterdam because frontman Mick Jagger was suffering a sore throat.

"We are sorry to disappoint the fans," Jagger said in a statement. "We will be back in September to do the gig and will give you a Stones show you'll not forget!"

Jagger added, "I will be suitably recharged, recovered and fit for Saturday's (8/23) kick-off of the U.K. dates at Twickenham Stadium, in our home town."

Jones was wounded in the leg by gunfire in the Hollis section of Queens on May 14, and reportedly has identified his shooter.

A study by research firm The NPD Group found that the number of households downloading music via the Internet began to decrease in May of 2003, "immediately after the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) instituted a well-publicized campaign threatening individual file sharers with legal action."

NPD claims the number of households acquiring music files hit a high of 14.5 million in April, but fell to 12.8 million in May and again to 10.4 million in June.
