Briefly: Ozzy Osbourne, Sarah McLachlan, Shortlist Finalists, Jagged Edge, 'Kill Bill'

Ozzy Osbourne , claiming that he broke his foot on the Ozzfest tour, has postponed two upcoming UK performances. "I need to get it fixed so I can be fighting fit when I come home to the UK," he said in a statement.

Osbourne was scheduled to play this week at London's Wembley Arena and Birmingham's NEC. His London show has been rescheduled for Oct. 29, and the Birmingham appearances are now set for Oct. 31 and Nov. 1.

Osbourne's European tour is scheduled to resume on Oct. 22 in Dublin.

Sarah McLachlan , whose new single, "Fallen," has been shipped to radio, is planning to "tour extensively" in 2004 to support her forthcoming, as-yet untitled album, according to her official website.

The new album is scheduled for release sometime in November.

Finalists for the 2003 Shortlist Music Prize--which will be awarded on Oct. 5 in Los Angeles--are Black Keys, Bright Eyes, Cat Power, Cody Chesnutt, Floetry, Interpol , Damien Rice, Sigur Ros, The Streets and Yeah Yeah Yeahs.

Interpol, Damien Rice, Bright Eyes, Cat Power and Black Keys will perform at the Shortlist Concert, which takes place during the ceremony. The performances will be taped for broadcast as a 60-minute special that will air on MTV2 throughout mid-October.

Kyle Norman of R&B group Jagged Edge reportedly is wanted for questioning by DeKalb County, GA, authorities. Deputies said they found two guns, 13 pounds of marijuana and about $6,000 cash in his home, according to published reports.

Maverick Records issues the soundtrack to the upcoming Quentin Tarrantino film "Kill Bill Volume 1" on Sept. 23. Among the tracks on the album are Nancy Sinatra 's "Bang Bang (My Baby Shot Me Down)", RZA's "Ode to Oren Ishii", Isaac Hayes' "Run Fay Run" and Meiko Kaki's "The Flower of Carnage."

The film, starring Uma Thurman, Lucy Liu, Vivica A. Fox, Michael Madsen, Darryl Hannah and David Carradine, is scheduled to open on Oct. 10.
