More dates surface for Aerosmith and KISS
Aerosmith and KISS keep rocking crowds during a co-headlining run that now stretches into November.
The rock icons, who recently shuffled a number of dates following the massive blackout that affected much of the Northeast, have now added new shows in Albuquerque, Salt Lake City and Omaha on Oct. 22, Oct. 23 and Nov. 6, respectively.
Both bands are offering special ticket packages for stops throughout the tour, and packages for the three new dates will be available on Tuesday (9/9). Details are posted at Aerosmith's official fan-club website and at KISS's official website.
KISS, which earlier this year cut a deal with Sanctuary Records to launch a new imprint dubbed KISS Records, released on July 22 a two-disc live set titled "The KISS Symphony: Alive IV," which the group recorded during its Feb. 28 performance with Australia's Melbourne Orchestra. A two-DVD video of the concert hits stores on Tuesday (9/9).
Aerosmith, whose most-recent studio set is 2001's "Just Push Play," has been working on a blues-covers album that it plans to release early next year.
The Aerosmith-KISS outing continues on Saturday (9/6) in Wisconsin.
