Police reportedly are investigating reports that shots were fired as 50 Cent and his entourage arrived at a Jersey City, NJ, hotel shortly after midnight on Tuesday (9/9).
According to The Jersey Journal, 50 Cent was checking in to the hotel when the gunfire erupted, and he and most of his entourage fled following the incident. No injuries were reported.
Police are asking that the rapper and his crew voluntarily answer questions.
"The Preacher's Son," the fourth album from Wyclef Jean , is due to hit stores on Oct. 28.
The White Stripes are premiering on their official website a new video for the track "Hardest Button to Button."
Michel Gondry, who was behind the MTV Breakout Video Music Award-winning "Fell In Love With A Girl" clip, directed.
Country artist Suzy Bogguss releases her first-ever Christmas album, "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas," on Oct. 14.
Tracks include "Baby It's Cold Outside," on which Bogguss duets with Delbert McClinton, and "Mr. Santa," an alternate lyric of "Mr. Sandman" that features Chet Atkins (guitar) and Ricky Skaggs (mandolin and harmony vocals).
A limited edition of the same album available last year via Bogguss' website.
The custom rosewood Telecaster guitar that was played by the late George Harrison during The Beatles' last concert--in 1969 on the roof of the Apple Records building--goes up for auction on eBay on Saturday (9/13).
