Jackson Browne adds more shows to acoustic outing
As the mid-October launch date of his solo-acoustic tour nears, singer-songwriter Jackson Browne extends the run well into the fall.
Due to kick off in Minneapolis on Oct. 12, Browne's road trip is scheduled to hit theaters throughout the Northeast and Midwest until at least mid-November.
Browne continues to support his 13th album, "The Naked Ride Home," which surfaced a year ago. The set is his first new studio effort since 1996's "Looking East," one of only two albums that he released in the '90s.
Backing Browne on "The Naked Ride Home" are Mark Goldenberg (guitar), Mauricio Lewak (drums), Jeff Young (keys, vocals) and Kevin McCormick (bass), with whom Browne co-produced the album.
Audio clips of all 10 tracks on "The Naked Ride Home" are streaming at Browne's website. The site also features lyrics for all of the songs.
