Seal ends lengthy touring hiatus with late-2003 club outing
Pop vocalist Seal backs his first new album in five years with a U.S. club tour that kicks off next month.
The run is currently scheduled to begin on the West Coast in mid-November, and dates are scattered through mid-December. More shows will be added, according to Warner Bros. The tour is Seal's first since his outing behind 1998's "Human Being."
Prior to setting out on his headlining run, Seal gives an Oct. 15 performance in New York City as part of a multi-act concert thrown by radio station 106.7 LiteFM and dubbed "One Night with Lite." The event will also feature Rod Stewart, Simply Red and Sarah McLachlan.
Seal also turns up on the Oct. 16 episode of ABC-TV's "The View," and performs at the Oct. 18 taping of BET's "9th Annual Walk of Fame" show, which this year honors singer Aretha Franklin. The event airs on Oct. 28.
"Seal IV"--which is, in fact, Seal's fourth album--arrived in stores last month, and debuted at No. 3 on The Billboard 200 album chart. The album features his latest single, "Waiting for You."
Seal's official website is streaming "Seal IV" in its entirety.
