The bulk of the outing follows in November, and will feature show-opener Josh Kelley on most nights. Details are shown in the itinerary below.
Fans who can't catch 3EB on tour can get a glimpse of the band on the Oct. 19th episode of the NBC series "American Dreams," a fictional drama set in the 1960's. The group makes its second appearance as The Kinks on the program, and performs the hit "You Really Got Me."
Meanwhile, another 3EB cover--this one of the recently deceased Johnny Cash's "Cry, Cry, Cry"--is available at the band's website as a free MP3 download. The cut, which the group recorded several years ago for Sun Records, also features Merle Haggard.
Third Eye Blind's May album release, "Out of the Vein," features the singles "Blinded (When I See You)" and "Crystal Baller," both of which are streaming at Elektra's 3EB website.
Third Eye Blind broke into the spotlight with its self-titled 1997 debut, which spawned the hits "Semi Charmed Life, "Graduate," "How's It Going to Be," "Losing a Whole Year" and "Jumper." The set has sold more than six million copies to date, according to Elektra.
Kelley released his debut set, "For the Ride Home," in June. More information about the set is available at Hollywood Records' Josh Kelly website.
