Currently on the road in support of this year's "Wormwood," jam-band moe. is offering its fans the opportunity to buy a live recording of each concert within minutes of the show's end.

To accomplish the feat, the group has teamed with Instant Live, Clear Channel's fledgling audio venture. Launched earlier this year, Instant Live records concerts and burns them to CD immediately following the show; the first batch of discs is ready within seven to eight minutes after the concert ends, according to the company's website.

Included in moe.'s fall tour schedule is a Halloween show dubbed the "Headbangers' Left Ball: An Evening of Heavy moe.tel." The event, which is the first of two nights at Chicago's Aragon Ballroom, will include a costume contest and a Best Mullet Contest, according to a press release. Female AC/DC cover-band AC/DShe will open.

Looking ahead to 2004, moe. has lined up plans for a one-week stay on a cruise line in March. The jaunt, billed as "Cruisin' with moe. 2004," leaves from Miami, makes stops at several Caribbean islands, and features multiple performances from the group.

Moe. [ tickets ]'s "Wormwood" surfaced in February. The album is one continuous piece of music; the group recorded the basic tracks during live shows in the summer of 2002, then added "studio jams and assorted weirdness" at a studio located "in the sticks of Massachussetts," according to the band's website.
