Family Values Tour Adjusts Lineup, Itinerary
The Family Values Tour has fleshed out its lineup with the addition of Primus , Staind, and System Of A Down to selected dates. They'll join already announced acts Limp Bizkit , Filter, The Crystal Method, DMX, and Method Man & Redman.
The questions regarding which acts will play which cities are also clearing up. Here's the rundown so far:
Staind will open shows from the tour's Sept. 21 launch through Oct. 13 in Minneapolis, after which System Of A Down take over for the balance of the dates.
Primus joins the tour beginning Oct. 13 in Minneapolis. At that time, The Crystal Method departs.
Method Man & Redman will take over DMX's spot in the lineup starting Oct. 19 in San Francisco.
The tour opens at the Pittsburgh Civic Center and wraps with a Halloween show at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum in Biloxi.
In other news, tour officials recently confirmed that Family Values will pull into Denver's Pepsi Arena on Oct. 25. The show was previously listed as TBA.
Last year's Family Values Tour, which featured KORN, Rammstein, Ice Cube, Limp Bizkit, Orgy and Incubus proved to be a blockbuster, grossing $6.4 million over just 27 shows. The tour was the brainchild of KORN, their management company The Firm, and Metropolitan Entertainment.
