Briefly: Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, Rod Stewart, Nelly, Something Corporate

The Michael Jackson charity single "What More Can I Give," shelved since it was recorded in the wake of 2001's Sept. 11 attacks, is now available for download.

The download, which costs $2, was made available on Monday (10/27) via the website of non-profit organization Music for Giving. Proceeds will go do various children's charities.

It is unclear why the song, which features contributions from Anastacia, Nick Carter, Gloria Estefan, Ricky Martin, Reba McEntire, 'NSync, Tom Petty, Shakira, Luther Vandross and others, wasn't officially released sooner.

Whitney Houston releases "One Wish--The Holiday Album," her first collection of Christmas songs, on Nov. 15.

The album includes standards such as "Little Drummer Boy," "I'll Be Home for Christmas," "The Fist Noel," and "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas," as well as several new compositions.

"I've wanted to do an album of holiday songs for some time," Houston said in a statement. "I think these are some of the most beautiful songs ever written about such a wonderful time of year and I hope they appeal to everyone."

The musical "Tonight's the Night" opens at London's Victoria Palace Theater on Tuesday (10/28). The "all singing, all dancing story/musical with a cast of 36" features more than 20 of Rod Stewart 's songs, according to a press release.

Nelly issues the remixes album "Da Derrty Version (The Reinvention)," on Nov. 25. It features the new song "Iz You" as well as updated versions of hits from his 2000 debut album, "Country Grammar."

"Basically, we already had the formula for the songs the first time around, all we're doing is reinventing the idea of these songs, playing with them a bit," Nelly said in a statement.

The opening date of Something Corporate 's headlining tour, which was to get underway on Tuesday (10/28) in San Diego, has been postponed due to the wildfires currently ravaging Southern California. The show has been rescheduled for Dec. 18.

"We didn't really feel right about putting on a show when our fans should be home with their families," frontman/pianist Andrew McMahon said in a statement. "We're looking forward to playing San Diego in December."
