With the new rarities/live set "EP" on the way, pop-rockers Matchbox Twenty [ tickets ] have firmed up their tour schedule though December.

The band's remaining itinerary is dominated by headlining dates at arenas, all of which feature Fountains of Wayne [ tickets ] in the opening slot. Tickets for Matchbox Twenty's Nov. 7 appearance at Cricket Pavilion in Phoenix are available for free thanks to a sponsorship from Budweiser and local radio station 101.5 The Zone. Matchbox Twenty [ tickets ] also appears at VH1's "Big in 2003" show--which takes place in Universal City, CA, on Nov. 20 and airs on the cable network on Nov. 30--and wraps up the year with a Dec. 11 appearance at New York radio station Z100's Jingle Ball.

"EP," which features five rare tracks and the previously unreleased song "Suffer Me," hits stores on Nov. 11. The CD also includes video of five live songs recorded in April, as well as interviews and behind-the-scenes footage.

"More Than You Think You Are," Matchbox Twenty's latest album, was released in November of 2002 and currently sits at No. 50 on The Billboard 200 album chart. The album features the hit single "Unwell," which spent more than four months in the No. 1 slot on Billboard's Adult Top 40 chart, as well as the follow-up, "Bright Lights."

Matchbox Twenty has had more No. 1 hits and has spent more weeks at No. 1 on the Modern AC and Adult Top 40 charts than any other artist in history, according to a press release.
