Jim Brickman locks down holiday lineup, looks to 2004
Pianist Jim Brickman has unveiled the roster for his imminent Jim Brickman & Friends: The Holiday Concert Tour, and has begun booking shows for next year.
Joining Brickman on the holiday outing--which kicks off in St. Louis later this month--will be singers Jeff Timmons (98 Degrees), Kristy Starling (discovered in a "Today Show" talent search) and Anne Cochran, along with electric violinist Tracy Silverman. All four artists appear on Brickman's latest release, "Peace," which features his renditions of a number of classic holiday favorites, as well as several original tracks.
Cochran and Silverman turn up on Brickman's cover of "Do You Hear What I Hear?," while Starling sings "Sending You a Little Christmas," an original number that Brickman co-wrote.
Collin Raye is featured on the album's title track. Fans can download an MP3 version of the song from Brickman's website.
Streaming samples of the album's 13 tracks are posted at Windham Hill Records' website.
Following the holiday run, Brickman is scheduled to take a break before heading back out on the road early next year; he has already scheduled a number of February, March and April shows. Details appear below.
