Briefly: Enrique Iglesias, Joey Ramone, Buddy Arnold, 50 Cent, The Stills

Enrique Iglesias will embark on a spring tour to support his forthcoming album, "Seven," which is due in stores on Nov. 25. The itinerary hasn't been finalized.

Interscope Records is hyping the album's release with a "Fly Away with Enrique" instant-win game. One of the new CDs will contain a "golden ticket," the holder of which--along with a companion--will be flown to one of Iglesias' spring-2004 appearances anywhere in the world, according to the label.

A hundred first-place winners will receive a personalized "platinum record" replica autographed by Iglesias.

The corner of Second Street and The Bowery--the location of the legendary New York punk club CBGB--will be renamed "Joey Ramone Place" during a Nov. 30 ceremony. Fans of The Ramones have been pushing to have the street renamed in honor of the musician since he died of cancer in April of 2001.

Buddy Arnold , a jazz saxophonist who performed with greats including Tommy Dorsey and Stan Kenton, died in a Los Angeles hospital on Sunday (11/9) of complications from open-heart surgery, his publicist said in a statement. He was 77.

Arnold, who struggled with addiction for much of his life, was the co-founder of the Musicians' Assistance Program, a treatment program for drug and alcohol addiction.

50 Cent and Interscope Records are the target of a $21-million lawsuit filed by a New York Post photographer who claims he was attacked by the rapper's bodyguards, Newsday reports.

In the suit, James Alcorn reportedly claims that he was "assaulted and battered" on Aug. 27 while he photographed 50 Cent shopping in Manhattan's diamond district. Alcorn claims he suffered neck and jaw injuries.
