Art Garfunkel ill, Simon & Garfunkel postpone one concert

Simon & Garfunkel [ tickets ] have postponed their scheduled Wednesday night (11/12) concert in Sacramento, CA, because Art Garfunkel has a throat infection, according to organizers.

The Sacramento show has been rescheduled for Nov. 20, and fans holding tickets for the original date can use them on the new date.

The duo is expected to resume the tour on its next scheduled date, Nov. 14 in Anaheim, CA.

Simon & Garfunkel launched their first major tour in two decades less than a month ago. The outing is scheduled conclude in Tampa on Dec. 21.

In conjunction with the tour, Columbia/Legacy released "The Essential Simon and Garfunkel," a two-disc career retrospective, on October 10.
