3 Doors Down keeps tour rolling with more dates

3 Doors Down keeps alive its ongoing tour behind last year's "Away from the Sun" with additional concert dates that spill over into 2004.

The group has filled the blanks in its late-November schedule, and has also added a pair of headlining shows in both December and January, including a New Year's Eve engagement in Columbus, GA.

The band is also due to perform at New York City's Madison Square Garden on Dec. 11 as part of radio station Z-100's Jingle Ball festival.

A ticket pre-sale for the newly added early January shows in Ohio is underway, and a pre-sale for tickets to the late-December shows in Georgia kicks off on Monday (11/24). Fans must register at the band's website to participate.

3 Doors Down's "Away from the Sun" arrived in stores about a year ago, and debuted at No. 8 on The Billboard 200 album chart. The set features the group's latest hit, "Here Without You," which sits at No. 2 on Billboard's latest Adult Top 40 chart.
