The Who , David Bowie and Stereophonics will headline Great Britain's 2004 Isle of Wright Festival, organizers announced.
Stereophonics are scheduled to appear on June 11, The Who perform on June 12, and Bowie takes the stage on June 13. More information is available on the event's official website.
OutKast , whose current No. 1 single "Hey Ya!" features the oft-repeated line "Shake it like a Polaroid picture," has signed an endorsement deal to promote Polaroid cameras.
The duo has been outfitted with the instant cameras, which they'll reportedly use during live shows.
Jack White of The White Stripes was formally charged with aggravated assault on Monday (12/22) in connection with a recent nightclub brawl with fellow Detroit musician Jason Stollsteimer of Von Bondies.
White hit Stollsteimer seven times during a Dec. 13 fight at a Detroit nightclub, Stollsteimer said in a statement to police. According to Detroit news reports, White has filed a countercomplaint, in which he claims that he acted in self-defense.
Singer-songwriter Steve Earle will join the cast of the off-Broadway play "The Exonerated" during the play's Dec. 29-Jan. 4 shows. The Bob Balaban-directed play--which has also featured Alanis Morissette--stemmed from interviews with 40 death-row inmates. Earle has long crusaded against the death penalty.
