The Sounds tap Kill Hannah, IMA Robot for winter club tour

Swedish alt-rock outfit The Sounds are set for their first headlining tour of the U.S., which will touch down in more than 30 cities this winter.

Also on the bill are Kill Hannah --which last year issued its sophomore album, "For Never & Ever"--and IMA Robot, which is on the road behind its self-titled debut. The tour launches on Feb. 15 in Milwaukee.

The Sounds are touring in support of their debut album, "Living In America." Last year, the group opened for Rooney and The Raveonettes in the U.S., and also appeared on "The Late Show with David Letterman," "Last Call with Carson Daly," "The View," "Jimmy Kimmel" and "The Late Late Show with Craig Kilborn."

Among The Sounds' tour stops is a March 18 performance at the SXSW Music Conference in Austin, TX.

"We are all about the 100% attack," bassist Johan Bengtsson said of the band's live philosophy. "We never want to give the audience room to think. That can happen afterwards. This is all about dancing and having a good time."
