A Perfect Circle rolls out more tour dates behind sophomore album

A Perfect Circle [ tickets ]'s upcoming U.S. arena tour in support of last year's "Thirteenth Step" now stretches well into the spring.

Newly added dates for the run, which kicks off in Salt Lake City on March 18, extend the outing until May 1. Tickets for about half of the currently confirmed shows are on sale now.

"Thirteenth Step" debuted at No. 2 on The Billboard 200 album chart last fall. The album features the hit single "Weak & Powerless," which topped the Modern Rock and Active Rock radio charts. The song's companion video is streaming at the band's website.

The new album is A Perfect Circle's first to feature bassist Jeordie White, a.k.a. ex-Marilyn Manson member Twiggy Ramirez. The group also features former Smashing Pumpkins guitarist James Iha, who joined the group after "Thirteenth Step" was recorded.

Rounding out the lineup are original members vocalist Maynard James Keenan (also of Tool), guitarist Billy Howerdel and drummer Josh Freese.

"Thirteenth Step" is the follow up to A Perfect Circle's platinum-certified 2000 debut, "Mer de Noms," which spawned the hits "Judith" and "3 Libras."
