The Strokes [ tickets ] hit the U.S. club circuit this spring to back their sophomore set, last year's "Room on Fire."

The New York rockers launch the run in Washington, DC, on March 9, and are currently scheduled to wrap up the outing in the Midwest by the end of April. Ticket on-sale dates are set for most shows, and appear in the itinerary below.

Members of the group's fan club will have a crack at tickets 24 hours before they become available to the general public, according to the band's website.

The Strokes, who wrapped up an Australian tour last weekend, are on a break until the U.S. run kicks off, with the exception of a Feb. 5 show at the House of Blues in West Hollywood, CA, to benefit VH1's Save the Music program.

Released in October, "Room on Fire" features 11 new tracks, including the single "12:51." Roman Coppola, who directed videos for the group's previous album, directed the clip for the new song.

Gordon Raphael, who produced The Strokes' critically acclaimed 2001 debut, "Is This It," returned to produce "Room on Fire." The group initially began recording the new album with producer Nigel Godrich (Radiohead), but those sessions were eventually scrapped.

Last month, The Strokes picked up nominations for two NME Awards: Best International Band and Best Album. The award ceremony takes place on Feb. 12 at the Hammersmith Palais in London. Fans can vote for the group at NME's website.
