Soul great Aretha Franklin reportedly has been hospitalized since Saturday (3/20) with an undisclosed ailment.

According to published reports, the singer--a Detroit resident--is in stable condition at an undisclosed hospital.

Britney Spears will resume her tour as scheduled tonight at Philips Arena in Atlanta, according to Jive Records.

Spears postponed two shows last week after suffering a knee injury, and both dates have been rescheduled: Her Rosemont, IL, show is now set for April 13, and her Auburn Hills, MI, appearance has been moved to April 14. According to Jive, all tickets for the original dates will be honored on the new dates, or may be returned to their point of purchase for a refund.

Rush guitarist Alex Lifeson reportedly has been charged with two felony counts of battery on a law enforcement officer in connection with a New Year's Eve incident in Naples, FL. Six charges were initially filed.

According to the Naples Daily News, Lifeson could face up to five years in prison if convicted. He was arrested following a New Year's Eve brawl at the Ritz-Carlton hotel in Naples, FL.

According to published reports, Lifeson--whose real name is Alex Zivojinovich--is accused of spitting blood in a deputy's face and pushing an officer down a stairwell. The incident reportedly began when Lifeson's son jumped onto a stage where a house band was performing and refused to leave.

The lineup for this year's Bonnaroo fest, which takes place June 11-13 in Manchester, TN, has been beefed up. New additions include Patti Smith , Ween , The Radiators, Guster, The Jazz Mandolin Project featuring Jamie Masefield and Jon Fishman, JoJo & His Mojo Mardi Gras Band, The Hackensaw Boys and New Monsoon.
