Brides of Destruction set up inaugural headlining run
Brides of Destruction --which features Motley Crue bassist Nikki Sixx and L.A. Guns guitarist Tracii Guns--mount a headlining club tour this spring in support of its debut album.
The group plans to launch the run--dubbed the Honeymoon from Hell Tour--in Clifton Park, NY, on April 30, and dates so far are set through mid-May. Fellow rockers Amen will occupy one of the tour's two opening slots; a second act is yet to be named.
"Brides of Destruction gives me the same feeling I had on the first Motley Crue tour," Sixx said in a statement. "I feel brand new again and am looking forward to getting out there and bloodying some lips and blacking some eyes, old school rock and roll style. The Brides are out to put the danger back in rock and roll!"
Brides of Destruction issued their debut set, "Here Come the Brides," in early March.
Following its spring club outing, the group heads to Europe in June to work the summer festival circuit. More U.S. dates will follow in July, according to a press release.
