Briefly: Backstreet Boys, Loretta Lynn, Chris Stamey, Kelly Osbourne, Kids' Choice Awards

After a two-year break, Backstreet Boys reunited in February to record a new album, the band said in a statement.

"It has really been great getting back together working on our music," the statement said. "The album will be released this summer and we will be touring in the United States this fall."

Country veteran Loretta Lynn issues a new album titled "Van Lear Rose" on April 27. The set--recorded in Nashville last June and July--was produced by Jack White of The White Stripes.

Chris Stamey--best known for his stints in The Sneakers and dB's--issues his first solo album since 1991's "Fireworks" on June 15.

The set features guest appearances by Ryan Adams, Tift Merritt, Caitlin Cary and Thad Cockrell, as well as past collaborators Peter Holsapple and Don Dixon.

His core band for the album included Superchunk drummer Jon Wurster, ex-Jayhawks keyboardist Jen Gunderman and Greg Readling of The Carbines.

Kelly Osbourne , 19, has entered a Malibu, CA, drug-rehab clinic due to an addiction to painkillers, her parents Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne said on Friday's (4/2) broadcast of CNN's "Larry King Live."

Sharon Osbourne told King that she found out earlier that day that an English tabloid apparently had obtained a photo of her daughter buying drugs.

Rap sensation OutKast was the only musical act to log multiple trophies at Saturday's (4/3) 17th-annual Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards ceremony; the duo scored wins for Favorite Group and Best Song ("Hey Ya!").

Hilary Duff took the award for Favorite Female Singer, while Nelly was crowned Favorite Male Singer.
