Marc Anthony gets 'Personal' during summer tour
Marc Anthony has laid out plans for a summer tour of North American that supports a pair of upcoming albums.
The Latin singer, who has dubbed the outing the Nada Personal Tour, kicks off the run in Puerto Rico on June 11, then heads to the U.S. for a series of shows that currently wraps up in late July. The itinerary also includes two late-June Canadian stops.
On June 1, Anthony issues a new, Spanish-language album titled "Amar Sin Mentiras." A new salsa album will follow in July, according to tour promoter Clear Channel Entertainment.
Anthony's most-recent English-language album is 2002's "Mended," which debuted at No. 3 on The Billboard 200 album chart. The set, which spawned the hit "I Need You," has sold more than 1.3 million copies worldwide, according to a press release.
This month, Anthony hits the silver screen alongside Denzel Washington and Christopher Walken in the upcoming thriller "Man on Fire," which arrives in theaters on April 23.
