Sevendust plots more tour dates as acoustic set surfaces

Sevendust [ tickets ] supports its just-released acoustic album with a series of headlining dates and a slot on this summer's Rolling Rock Town Fair tour.

The Florida-based quintet, which kicked off the headlining jaunt early last month, continues the run through late May, and caps things off with a May 28 performance at Wisconsin's Riverfest festival. Cold [ tickets ], Apartment 26 and Atomship [ tickets ] open on most dates, while the Riverfest stop will feature performances from a number of groups, including Papa Roach and Fear Factory.

Sevendust then returns to the road in mid-June for a handful of shows that comprise the Rolling Rock Town Fair tour. Details are shown below.

On Tuesday (5/4), Sevendust issued "Southside Double-Wide Acoustic Live," which captures the group's Sept. 12, 2003 performance in Athens, GA, part of the group's acoustic tour. The limited-edition set features a 70-minute CD and a 65-minute bonus DVD, as well as a 16-page booklet, a Sevendust guitar pick and 20 color-photo postcards featuring scenes from the concert. The acoustic set follows Sevendust's latest studio effort, last October's "Seasons," which features the singles "Broken Down" and "Enemy." Both tracks are available as free downloads from the band's website.
