Limp Bizkit 's Fred Durst, in an attempt to (in his own words) "address some stupid ass rumors I've been hearing from some morons on the web," has written another missive to fans.

"Limpbizkit is not breaking up for any reason," Durst wrote on the band's website. "As a matter of fact something is getting ready to happen and things will be stronger than ever before. We are playing some TV show on May 11 then going on a U.S. tour the end of June, then writing a new album, then going to Europe."

Durst also denied rumors that Limp Bizkit has been dropped from Interscope Records. "Man don't sound too ignorant," he wrote. "Limp has done very, very well for ourselves and our label and we would never leave and they would never dream of getting rid of us."

"Live in Boston," a Fleetwood Mac concert CD that the group recorded last September, is set to hit stores on June 15. The band will also issue a companion DVD, which PBS will air as a concert special on June 17.

The Supreme Court this week said it would not hear a case filed against Ozzy Osbourne six years ago by his former bassist Bob Daisley and former drummer Lee Kerslake. Daisley and Kerslake claimed they were owed royalties for songs from Osbourne's "Blizzard of Ozz" and "Diary of a Madman" albums.

After a lengthy search, rockers Disturbed have selected John Moyer of The Union Underground as their new bassist. He enters a slot that has been vacant since Steve "Fuzz" Kmak exited the group last year.

Brad Cotter , a 33-year-old Alabaman, won the USA Network talent show "Nashvlle Star" over the weekend, and was awarded a recording contact with Sony Music Nashville.

His debut single, "I Meant To"--which he performed on the final episode of the TV show--has already been shipped to radio. Cotter co-wrote the track.
