American Idols Live tour canvasses the U.S. this summer
The Top 10 finalists from this season's in-progress "American Idol" talent competition join forces this summer for a lengthy run on the U.S. arena circuit.
The outing is scheduled to kick off in Salt Lake City on July 14, and wraps up in San Jose, CA, on Sept. 26. Stops are confirmed in 46 U.S. cities; the itinerary also includes two Canadian dates.
Tickets for most shows hit the box office on May 22, with the exception of those for the Sept. 15 stop in Ottawa and Sept. 16 stop in Toronto, which are due out on May 21; and those for the Sept. 23 show in Anaheim, CA, which are set for release on May 23. Details appear below.
The tour will feature current "American Idol" finalists Fantasia Barrino, Diana DeGarmo, George Huff, Jasmine Trias and La Toya London, as well as already-eliminated contestants Amy Adams, Camile Velasco, Jennifer Hudson, John Stevens and Jon Peter Lewis.
One of the five remaining finalists will be eliminated on Wednesday's episode (5/5) of Fox-TV's "American Idol." The competition will end with a two-hour finale on May 26.
