Don Henley to follow Eagles dates with solo gigs
With the Eagles nearing the end of their spring tour, Don Henley is gearing up for a month-long trek of his own.
The singer/songwriter/drummer's outing launches in Florida in late June and will visit more than a dozen North American cities this summer. He'll play at a mix of theaters, casinos, amphitheaters and festivals.
Henley's most recent album is 2000's "Inside Job," for which he picked up three Grammy nominations. Though no plans have been announced for a new Henley solo set, The Eagles have been working on fresh material.
In a recent interview published in Michigan's Grand Rapids Press, Henley said that no release date for a new Eagles album is imminent.
"We don't do deadlines. We're not good with deadlines," Henley reportedly said. "It's completely open-ended. I really don't know what's going to happen with that. We have 17 or 18 songs, and I like about four or five of 'em."
