String Cheese Incident squeezes dates between Lollapalooza gigs

String Cheese Incident , a co-headliner on this year's Lollapalooza tour, will play a series of additional concert dates during Lollapalooza's off days.

The Colorado-based band has also scheduled several appearances leading up to Lollapalooza, including a June 11 set at the sold-out Bonnaroo music festival in Tennessee.

Meanwhile, the group's annual Horning's Hideout camping and music festival takes place in Oregon June 18-20 and will also feature Michael Franti and Spearhead, Keller Williams, and others. More details are available at the group's official website.
The remainder of the group's summer itinerary is below.

Lollapalooza, which opens in mid-July, has a two-day format this summer. String Cheese Incident plays on day two in each city, along with The Flaming Lips, Gomez and The Polyphonic Spree.

String Cheese Incident's sixth album, "Untying the Knot," was released last year on the band's own label. In addition to label operations, the band also operates its own travel and talent booking agencies, as well as a ticket company, SCI Ticketing.

SCI Ticketing last year filed a lawsuit over the number of tickets it was allocated by Ticketmaster, and Ticketmaster filed a countersuit. Reuters reported this week that both sides have agreed to drop all claims and counterclaims, and to pay their own court costs and attorneys' fees. Terms of the settlement were not disclosed. (Ticketmaster is liveDaily's corporate parent.)
