Slayer will be among the acts on the next edition of the Jaegermeister Music Tour, which will open in late fall, according to organizers.

The spring edition of the Jaegermeister outing concluded earlier this month, and featured Slipknot, Fear Factory and Chimaira. Organizers said that 27 of the 31 shows sold out.

Keith Richards made a surprise appearance at The BoxCar, a small club in Fairfield, CT, on Friday night (5/21), according to the Connecticut Post.

Richards, who has a home in the area, reportedly was on hand to watch 89-year-old bluesman David "Honeyboy" Edwards perform. Richards joined Edwards onstage at the end of the night to play some improvised blues.

Female hip-hop trio Northern State issues their as-yet-untitled sophomore album on Aug. 17, according to Columbia Records. The group has also been tapped to support on X-Ecutioners' upcoming tour, beginning June 2.

Metal survivors Dokken drop a new album titled "Hell To Pay" on July 13, and will launch a summer tour in mid-June, according to the group's publicist.

The lineup for Heineken House Party 3--set to take place Aug. 19-22 in Ocho Rios, Jamaica--has been unveiled.

Day one will feature The Roots , India Arie, Beenie Man, Sasha, Rick Rock and T.O.K.; day two's bill will be Jermaine Dupri, Ying Yang Twins, Bone Crusher and Pitbull. More information will be posted at Heineken's website, according to a press release.
