Opening night of Phish 's summer tour will be beamed via satellite from Coney Island in Brooklyn, NY, to select Regal Entertainment Group movie theaters.

The high-definition simulcast will show at Regal Cinemas, United Artists Theatres and Edwards Theatres in 47 cities, on June 17 at 7:30 p.m. ET.

Advance tickets go on sale beginning at noon on Friday (5/28) via participating theater box offices and Regal's corporate website.

Regal's site will also list the theaters that will be screening the concert, according to a press release. Among the markets the movie-house chain says will receive the simulcast are New York, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, San Francisco, Boston, Dallas, Atlanta, Detroit, Houston, Seattle, Minneapolis, Denver, Sacramento, St. Louis, Baltimore and Washington, DC.

Phish launches its seven-city summer tour at Coney Island's Keyspan Park two days after its new studio album, "Undermind," hits stores. The outing will end with the band's two-day Coventry festival in Vermont.
