Rockers Finch [ tickets ]--who are in the studio working on their second album--get back on stage this summer for a headlining club tour, as well as performances at each stop on the Rolling Rock Town Fair Tour.

The Temecula, CA-based band's headlining run begins with a July 29 kick-off in Chicago, and dates so far stretch into mid-September. Details about ticket pre-sales are posted at the group's website.

Fellow rock acts Recover [ tickets ] and Counterfit [ tickets ] hold down the opening slots.

Before embarking on the club outing, Finch will appear at all three of the Rolling Rock Town Fair Tour's June stops, and will also turn up at the tour's finale in Greensburg, PA, on July 31.

Finch is recording the follow-up to its first full-length set, 2002's "What It Is to Burn." The group is again working with producer Mark Trombino, who is known for his work with Blink-182 and Jimmy Eat World. A release date for the new album has not been announced.

Also pending is a release date for Recover's next album, which is due out some time this summer, according to the band's website.

Counterfit has been busy writing new material and recording demos for its follow-up to 2002's "Super Amusement Machine for Your Exciting Heart," according to its website.
