Ani DiFranco continues to pile up concert dates

Singer/songwriter Ani DiFranco will tackle a robust tour schedule in the coming months as she continues to support her latest album "Educated Guess."

The do-it-yourself artist is scheduled to visit a mix of festivals, clubs and theaters, including a two-night stand at New York City's Beacon Theatre Nov. 19-20.

DiFranco released "Educated Guess" in January. The set follows last year's "Evolve," which won the 2004 Grammy Award for Best Recording Package.

Though DiFranco is known for her self-reliance--she continues to release albums on her own Righteous Babe label despite years of major-label interest--"Evolve" takes it to the extreme. She recorded the album at home, by herself, using an analog, 8-track, reel-to-reel recorder.

Righteous Babe's website features streaming samples of several "Educated Guess" tracks, as well as a free MP3 of the album cut "Origami."
