Wu-Tang Clan regroups for Rock the Bells fest

All 10 key members of influential rap act Wu-Tang Clan will perform together for the first time in a decade during a Southern California festival that takes place on July 17.

The collective--RZA, GZA, Ol' Dirty Bastard, Method Man, Ghostface Killah, Raekwon, Inspectah Deck, Masta Killa, Cappadonna and U God--will headline the Rock the Bells Concert at San Bernardino's National Orange Shop Pavilion. The bill will also include Redman, Dilated Peoples, Sage Francis, Eydea + Abilities and Supernatural with special guests Chali 2na and DJ Nu-Mark of Jurassic 5.

"At first we thought we could get some of the members of Wu-Tang together and that would be enough, but it became a mission to bring them all out for one special day," Chang Weisberg of promotions firm Guerilla Union said in a statement. "All the members have expressed their excitement to let their alter egos mash the stage and represent the clan."

The first Rock the Bells concert took place in 2003, and organizers are assembling a 2005 tour under the Rock the Bells banner, according to a press release. Guerilla Union is probably best known for assembling Cypress Hill's annual Smoke Out festival.

Wu-Tang Clan is also scheduled to play a series of European dates this summer, including several festivals.
