Chart-topping rockers Hoobastank [ tickets ] continue to support their latest album, "The Reason," with a series of summer shows.

The group's in-progress tour features a mix of headlining shows and festival appearances, and dates stretch through the end of July. Details are shown below.

Tickets for several of the headlining dates are on sale now, and the group is also holding an online pre-sale for many of the shows. More information is posted at the band's website.

In a recent journal entry posted on the group's site, guitarist Dan Estrin said that his band was originally scheduled to precede its U.S. run with an opening stint on Evanescence's European tour, but was booted off the bill after declining to open a subsequent U.S. leg for Evanescence.

"Our manager Bret told their manager, 'Thanks, it's a great offer but we are gonna have to pass,'" Estrin wrote. "The manager of Evanescence told Bret something like ... 'Well, this might effect your dates with us in Europe.' So, basically, they kicked us off the tour. We didn't cancel s---. Evanescence and their manager pulled some real s---ty stuff. That's bad business. I had always heard negative things about their manager. Now I see for myself that it is true."

Estrin said that the unceremonious dumping meant that the band also had to scrap plans for additional European appearances of its own that were scheduled to coincide with Evanescence outing.

"The Reason," which surfaced last December, was recently certified platinum, signifying U.S. shipment of 1 million copies. Helping to spur sales is the set's title track, which continues to sit at No. 1 on Billboard's Top 40 Tracks chart.
