String Cheese Incident revamps summer tour
Though the String Cheese Incident 's summer plans were greatly altered with the cancellation of Lollapalooza, the popular jam band is still set to play many shows in the coming weeks.
"Despite what the industry is saying, we still believe people want to see live shows," bassist Keith Moseley said in a statement.
The group has already participated in some very successful events this summer, including the Tennessee's sold-out Bonnaroo festival and its own sold-out Horning's Hideout camping festival in North Plains, OR.
A mix of headlining shows and festival dates make up the bulk of the Colorado-based band's remaining summer schedule.
String Cheese Incident's sixth album, "Untying the Knot," was released last year on the band's own label. In addition to label operations, the self-sufficient band also operates its own travel- and talent-booking agencies, as well as a ticket company, SCI Ticketing.
Though String Cheese Incident was scheduled to appear on this year's Lollapalooza tour, the festival was canceled last month due to slow ticket sales.
